RE&LS partners on four APWA awarded projects
RE&LS congratulates the projects recognized by the American Public Works Association- Genesee Valley Chapter. These varying projects represent improvements among more than 100 municipalities affiliated with the APWA. RE&LS proudly contributed to four of these winning projects, and we thank our prime partners for their teamwork in achieving these projects' completion.

Holmquist Promoted to SUE Project Manager
Congratulations to Scott Holmquist, recently promoted to Subsurface Utility Engineering (SUE) Project Manager! Scott has been a leader in the Survey Department since 2014, serving as Projects & Operations Administrator. He brings his experience in process improvement to project management, keeping our crews efficient and effective. RE&LS is proud to welcome Scott to this new chapter in his career with the firm.

Autism Nature Trail takes shape in Livingston County
Public response is overwhelming in support of a new therapeutic recreation trail currently under development at Letchworth State Park, Avon, NY. The Autism Nature Trail (ANT) has begun public funding appeals to meet a nearly $4 million goal. Meanwhile, design work continues, of which RE&LS is proud to participate as part of the team. Our survey crews are currently in the field for initial phase work, with construction anticipated to be complete in 2021.

Blue Ribbon Awards for Dave Honnick, PLS
Ravi Engineering is proud to congratulate Dave Honnick, PLS, for a Blue Ribbon win at NYSAPLS 2020 Conference! Dave’s work on a boundary survey of 8.55 acres for Potomac Properties LLC in Rochester took top honors in the “ALTA” Map category, and a map of 211 acres prepared for the Genesee Valley Land Trust Company and an Environmental Easement earned the top spot in the “Miscellanous” Map Category.

Sarah Martina was recently featured as the Engineer of the Month for the Rochester Chapter of the Society of Women Engineers.
